Internet Romance – I.R.L EP Launch

The Evelyn Hotel | 8pm 9 October 2026

Melbourne alternative rock band Internet Romance celebrate the release of their debut EP, I.R.L (In Real Life), with a hometown launch at The Evelyn Hotel on 9 October.

I.R.L is a celebration of stepping away from the screen and into the moment, building community, and embracing the messy joy of pursuing creativity together in real life. Blending driving guitars, infectious melodies and sharp wit, the EP explores themes of escapism, feminism, internet culture and the contradictions of modern life. Along the way, you'll find satirical jabs at the manosphere, unexpected Anchorman references, and a healthy dose of self-aware humour woven through emotionally charged alternative rock.

Known for their high-energy live performances, Internet Romance deliver a set that's as cathartic as it is fun. Join them at The Evelyn Hotel on 9th October to celebrate the release of I.R.L, a reminder that the best connections still happen in real life.
