PLANET OF THE 8s

Return to Planet of the 8s

13 November 2026

Desert stoner rockers PLANET OF THE 8S are back after an extended hiatus with new material and exactly 0.9 flightless fucks left to give. The mood is palpable, the riffs are outrageous, and the band remains ruthless in the pursuit of a good high. The live set is a thorough meditation on heavy groove and searing melody, a veritable Houdini routini where the journey is the escape and the escape is the point. “Bombastic groove, infectious choruses…every next track is a total banger” - Doom Charts

Providing support function for the evening will be Adelaide’s finest KITCHEN WITCH and Melbourne’s handsomest heavy psych apocalypsos JACK HARLON & THE DEAD CROWS.
