Zindzi & The Zillionaires

Zindzi & the Zillionaires returns to Northcote Social Club on Sunday November 29 to perform all your favourite songs from their debut album as well as never before heard songs that will be sure to get everyone in the family dancing!

Zindzi and the Zillionaires is a radical musical project for the whole family, from the much-loved play school presenter, musician and artist Zindzi Okenyo. Zindzi and the Zillionaires is a stunning hybrid of joyful R&B musical grooves combined with songs and themes that every child can love. And of course, good vibes for the parents too!

Since its release the debut album - Zindzi & the Zillionaires - has gone from strength to strength earning an ARIA nomination for Best Children’s Album along with wins for Best Album, Song and Newcomer at the MMMA Children’s Music Awards.

As the vibrant opening track, I’m a Zillionaire makes clear, the kind of riches Zindzi is singing about are the ones that matter most: friends, family, love, sharing, the wonders of nature. With a live band and her fluffy dancing Zillionaires friends on stage, Zindzi has seen the welcoming reaction from children and parents alike through her performances around the country at acclaimed festivals VIVID, DARK MOFO, Queenscliff, Wonderstruck, DreamBIG and Cairns Children’s Festivals.

Fans of Zindzi’s adult music as singer/songwriter OKENYO – a rich and unique mix of R&B, hip hop and rap – are thrilled to hear the same level of songwriting artistry brought to the world of children’s music with irresistible songs like Move Your Body, Love + Kindness and Confidence.

Join Zindzi at Northcote social for tunes the whole family can dance to, colouring in and craft! The zillies can't wait to meet you.
